Marc Zamsky brings over 25 years of experience in legal technology, specialising in eDiscovery architecture and managed review. As CEO of Cimplifi, Marc leads the firm’s strategic direction with a focus on operational excellence, client-centric innovation, and sustainable growth. He is a recognised champion of advanced analytics and workflow optimisation, helping corporate legal departments and law firms manage data, control costs, and deliver defensible outcomes.

Before joining Cimplifi, Marc was a founding partner and shareholder at a nationally recognised eDiscovery firm and held executive leadership roles across several industry-leading organisations. His career spans engagements with most Fortune 500 companies and the majority of Am Law 200 firms.

Marc began his career as a commercial litigation solicitor in Philadelphia (1992–1996) and remains an active contributor to the legal tech community as a frequent author and speaker. He holds a BA from Penn State University and earned his J.D. cum laude from Temple Law School, where he served on the Law Review and Moot Court team. Marc is also a Certified eDiscovery Specialist (CEDS).

As CTO of Cimplifi, Ari Perlstein leads the design, deployment, and oversight of the systems that power one of the most data-intensive environments in legal technology. He is responsible for both internal and client-facing infrastructure, ensuring speed, scalability, and security across billions of documents and petabytes of data.

Ari’s approach blends deep technical expertise with practical innovation. He develops integrations and automation to reduce resource demands and boost productivity, while solving complex challenges across document collection, processing, hosting, and large-scale review. Under his leadership, Cimplifi has implemented a secure national network topology and virtualised hosting environments, enabling seamless access and resilient performance for clients across the UK and beyond.

Ari also plays a key role in evaluating and training around Cimplifi’s technology partnerships—from review platforms and data warehouses to cybersecurity systems. His background spans software development, data analytics, network architecture, and business strategy. He holds a BSc in Computer Science from SUNY Binghamton, is a Relativity Master, and is Nuix Certified.

With over 35 years of legal expertise, Marla Crawford serves as General Counsel at Cimplifi, where she is recognised as a strategic advisor, respected attorney, and thought leader in legal technology, eDiscovery, and legal operations. She speaks regularly on the evolving intersection of law and innovation, championing smarter, more ethical approaches to data and discovery.

Marla spent 22 years at the international law firm Jones Day, specialising in the discovery phase of litigation. She later served as Associate General Counsel at Goldman Sachs for 11 years, where she built and led the firm’s global eDiscovery practice, focusing on complex commercial and securities litigation and regulatory investigations.

Her leadership extends across the industry: she sits on the advisory boards of Legal Week and cybersecurity firm CALAMU, is a fellow of the College of Law Practice Management, a member of CHIEF, and formerly served on the Educational Advisory Board of CLOC. Marla is the founder of SPLASH (Service Providers Leading Against Sexual Harassment) and a founding member of Women in eDiscovery’s Operation Safe Spaces.

Her accolades include the 2024 ALM Lifetime Achievement Award, Corporate Counsel Business Journal’s 50 Women to Watch, the Electronic Discovery Institute Leadership Award, and Fastcase 50 Honours.

Marla holds a BA in Public Policy from Duke University and earned her J.D. magna cum laude from Boston University School of Law, where she served on the Law Review and Moot Court team.

Steven Harber has been a driving force in legal technology and AI for nearly 30 years. As Executive Chairman of Cimplifi, he provides strategic guidance to the leadership team, drawing on a distinguished career of innovation, entrepreneurship, and industry transformation.

Steven began his journey in legal tech with a litigation support start-up offering scanning and database coding services to major corporations and law firms. He went on to co-found and serve as President of DiscoverReady, a pioneer in fixed-fee document review, which was later acquired by H.I.G. Capital. He then co-founded Apogee Legal, an early leader in enterprise contract analytics, which became a market frontrunner before its acquisition by DocuSign.

A recognised thought leader, Steven is a Senior Fellow at New York Law School, where he founded the Business of Law Institute to prepare future lawyers for the evolving legal landscape. He holds a BA in East Asian Studies from Bucknell University and a Juris Doctor from New York Law School.

Brandon Jessup is a dynamic accomplished leader renowned for transforming client experiences and driving profitable growth in the legal technology sector. With deep expertise at the intersection of law and technology, Brandon excels at building high-performing teams, streamlining operations, and developing innovative service offerings that consistently exceed client expectations.

He has held multiple senior leadership roles in global consulting and technology organizations, where he directed large delivery teams, launched new service offerings, and advanced the use of emerging technologies—including artificial intelligence—to improve outcomes for clients. Earlier in his career, Brandon was a member of the eDiscovery practice at an Am Law 100 law firm, managing complex litigation and investigation projects.

Throughout his career, Brandon has been recognized for fostering collaborative cultures, improving operational efficiency, and aligning people, process, and technology to drive sustainable growth.
Brandon earned his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law, and holds bachelor’s degrees in psychology, political science, and philosophy from the University of Idaho.

Michael Conner brings more than 30 years of experience in the legal industry to his role as chief revenue officer. He has held senior positions across leading service providers and law firms, giving him a rare combination of deep service‑delivery expertise and a strong foundation in business development.

Before joining Cimplifi, Conner led sales and operational functions for global legal services providers and multidisciplinary consulting firms, guiding commercial strategy, market growth, and the creation of scalable, technology‑enabled solutions. Earlier in his career, he served as president of a technology‑driven eDiscovery company, overseeing operations, product strategy, and revenue performance.

A recognized authority in electronic discovery and information governance, Conner has provided expert testimony in federal and state courts and served as a Rule 30(b)(6) corporate representative. He has authored numerous articles and white papers on eDiscovery, data management, and litigation readiness and is a frequent speaker on best practices across the legal technology landscape.

Trish Anderson is the managing director for the UK & EMEA, with nearly 20 years of experience in legal services and technology. Trish drives international growth and delivers innovative, client-centric solutions, translating complex technologies into practical applications that enhance efficiency and unlock legal data intelligence. Starting her career in San Francisco, she now leads from London with a global perspective. Trish is a passionate advocate for inclusive leadership, building diverse, high-performing teams, and is renowned for her collaborative approach and commitment to long-term client partnerships.

Mark Fletcher is a senior consultant in forensics at Cimplifi, with over a decade of expertise in digital forensics and eDiscovery. His career spans web consultancy, technical support at Apple, and senior forensic roles at the Metropolitan Police, including the Counter Terrorism unit. Mark specializes in advanced data recovery, forensic imaging, and expert witness testimony, holding certifications such as IACIS CFCE and SANS GIAC GCFE. He has led intricate eDiscovery workflows for international law firms and is known for translating technical findings into actionable insights, driving innovation in forensic practices.

Alasdair Inverarity has over a decade of experience in the eDiscovery field, with deep expertise across the entire Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM). His career has been defined by a commitment to innovation, designing and implementing advanced workflows that leverage cutting-edge technologies to solve complex legal and regulatory challenges. Alasdair has worked with top-tier UK and international law firms, global financial institutions, and major players in the automotive and consumer goods industries. His public sector experience includes extensive collaboration with UK government departments, where he has supported litigation, data subject access requests (DSARs), and high-profile public inquiries. He has helped these agencies build tailored eDiscovery playbooks suited to their operational environments. A Relativity Certified Administrator, Alasdair is a strong advocate for analytics and technology-assisted review, with hands-on experience in both Relativity Server and RelativityOne. He also brings expertise in Nuix Workstation for data processing and Brainspace for advanced analytics. Alasdair is known for his collaborative approach, working closely with stakeholders and legal teams to deliver customized training programs that promote professional development and encourage technology adoption—especially for non-traditional eDiscovery matters.

Fabio Gomes is an AI and CLM analyst on the Cimplifi contract analytics and lifecycle management (CALM) team, joining in 2022. With over three years of specialized experience in the Docusign platform, Fabio has led CLM+ solution implementations for major enterprise clients in financial services, energy, and health and life sciences. Certified across multiple CLM platforms, Fabio excels at integrating and customizing solutions, creating demos tailored for audiences new to CLM, and proactively addressing client concerns to ensure smooth adoption. Fabio holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge, and is based in the UK.

Mahendra Marshall is a seasoned eDiscovery project management specialist with over 13 years of experience overseeing all phases of eDiscovery and litigation support. Based in Belfast, Mahendra leads a cross-border team of project managers at Cimplifi, providing strategic guidance to clients and stakeholders. His career spans roles at leading eDiscovery service providers, supporting high-profile matters across industries such as banking, insurance, retail, and healthcare. Mahendra has worked with Fortune 500 companies and top global law firms. He holds a BA in Environmental Policy & Analysis from Boston University with a minor in International Relations and is certified as a Relativity Certified Administrator (RCA) and GenAI Pro.

Sommer Parkins is an AI and CLM consultant at Cimplifi, joining the CALM team in 2022. She brings deep expertise in contract analytics and Docusign Insight, leveraging Cimplifi’s platinum partnership with Docusign to deliver AI-driven solutions. Sommer transitioned from financial consulting to contract analytics five years ago, supporting complex projects such as LIBOR and QFC engagements. She leads clients through the full project lifecycle, from discovery to post-implementation, and is building expertise in generative AI through the Unifi ai launch. Sommer holds an Honours degree in Law from the University of Leeds and is based in the UK.

Satinder Soni brings over two decades of experience in legal services, specializing in legal technology solutions for litigation, cyber breach, and regulatory investigations. She advises on data governance, AI, and eDiscovery strategies. Satinder has worked with global law firms and multinational corporations, previously leading the legal technologies practice for EMEA at a global risk consultancy. Her notable engagements include managing multi-jurisdictional eDiscovery for a mining company, cyber breach response for a media corporation, and embedded litigation support for an offshore oil and gas enterprise. She holds an MA in Leadership from Henley Business School, a BA (Hons) in Marketing & HR, and serves on the ACEDS UK chapter board.

Edward Turay is a seasoned eDiscovery project manager with comprehensive expertise across the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM). He specializes in data processing, review, production, and advanced analytics, consistently delivering efficient, client-focused solutions. Edward holds the prestigious title of Relativity Master, reflecting his advanced proficiency and broad certification across the Relativity platform—including RelativityOne Certified Pro, Review Pro, and Generative AI Pro. His technical excellence is matched by a strong commitment to innovation, applying the latest technologies to solve complex eDiscovery challenges. Edward’s academic background in forensic science and software design is complemented by specialist training in digital forensics, giving him a unique blend of analytical precision and technical depth. He is recognized for his organizational skills, adaptability, and clear communication, which enable him to foster collaboration and drive successful outcomes in high-pressure environments. Whether managing large-scale litigation or navigating intricate regulatory matters, Edward brings a strategic mindset and a hands-on approach that ensures projects are delivered on time and to the highest standards.

Ben Watkins has more than five years of experience in the eDiscovery industry, where he has developed a strong command of the full EDRM lifecycle—from data collection to final production. He holds a BSc (Hons) in Computer Forensics from Leeds Beckett University, with academic specializations in Software Engineering and Natural Language Processing. Ben is certified across multiple Relativity platforms and holds a Certified Data Collection Technician (CDaCT) accreditation, underscoring his technical proficiency. Before entering eDiscovery, Ben worked in public sector IT, supporting and maintaining applications before transitioning into cyber forensics. His eDiscovery work spans partnerships with law firms, educational institutions, and government agencies, contributing to projects involving fraud investigations, large-scale insolvencies, and DSARs. Ben is particularly focused on proactive data discovery strategies, helping clients minimize risk and prepare for potential data breaches. His approach combines technical rigour with strategic foresight, ensuring that discovery processes are both efficient and defensible. Ben is also known for his ability to adapt tools and workflows to meet unique client needs, making him a valuable partner in high-stakes legal and regulatory matters.
