Marc Zamsky
Chief Executive Officer
Before joining Cimplifi, Marc was a founding partner and shareholder at a nationally recognised eDiscovery firm and held executive leadership roles across several industry-leading organisations. His career spans engagements with most Fortune 500 companies and the majority of Am Law 200 firms.
Marc began his career as a commercial litigation solicitor in Philadelphia (1992–1996) and remains an active contributor to the legal tech community as a frequent author and speaker. He holds a BA from Penn State University and earned his J.D. cum laude from Temple Law School, where he served on the Law Review and Moot Court team. Marc is also a Certified eDiscovery Specialist (CEDS).
Ari Perlstein
Chief Technology Officer
Ari’s approach blends deep technical expertise with practical innovation. He develops integrations and automation to reduce resource demands and boost productivity, while solving complex challenges across document collection, processing, hosting, and large-scale review. Under his leadership, Cimplifi has implemented a secure national network topology and virtualised hosting environments, enabling seamless access and resilient performance for clients across the UK and beyond.
Ari also plays a key role in evaluating and training around Cimplifi’s technology partnerships—from review platforms and data warehouses to cybersecurity systems. His background spans software development, data analytics, network architecture, and business strategy. He holds a BSc in Computer Science from SUNY Binghamton, is a Relativity Master, and is Nuix Certified.
Marla Crawford
General Counsel
Marla spent 22 years at the international law firm Jones Day, specialising in the discovery phase of litigation. She later served as Associate General Counsel at Goldman Sachs for 11 years, where she built and led the firm’s global eDiscovery practice, focusing on complex commercial and securities litigation and regulatory investigations.
Her leadership extends across the industry: she sits on the advisory boards of Legal Week and cybersecurity firm CALAMU, is a fellow of the College of Law Practice Management, a member of CHIEF, and formerly served on the Educational Advisory Board of CLOC. Marla is the founder of SPLASH (Service Providers Leading Against Sexual Harassment) and a founding member of Women in eDiscovery’s Operation Safe Spaces.
Her accolades include the 2024 ALM Lifetime Achievement Award, Corporate Counsel Business Journal’s 50 Women to Watch, the Electronic Discovery Institute Leadership Award, and Fastcase 50 Honours.
Marla holds a BA in Public Policy from Duke University and earned her J.D. magna cum laude from Boston University School of Law, where she served on the Law Review and Moot Court team.
Steven Harber
Executive Chairman
Steven began his journey in legal tech with a litigation support start-up offering scanning and database coding services to major corporations and law firms. He went on to co-found and serve as President of DiscoverReady, a pioneer in fixed-fee document review, which was later acquired by H.I.G. Capital. He then co-founded Apogee Legal, an early leader in enterprise contract analytics, which became a market frontrunner before its acquisition by DocuSign.
A recognised thought leader, Steven is a Senior Fellow at New York Law School, where he founded the Business of Law Institute to prepare future lawyers for the evolving legal landscape. He holds a BA in East Asian Studies from Bucknell University and a Juris Doctor from New York Law School.
Brandon Jessup
Chief Delivery Officer
He has held multiple senior leadership roles in global consulting and technology organizations, where he directed large delivery teams, launched new service offerings, and advanced the use of emerging technologies—including artificial intelligence—to improve outcomes for clients. Earlier in his career, Brandon was a member of the eDiscovery practice at an Am Law 100 law firm, managing complex litigation and investigation projects.
Throughout his career, Brandon has been recognized for fostering collaborative cultures, improving operational efficiency, and aligning people, process, and technology to drive sustainable growth.
Brandon earned his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law, and holds bachelor’s degrees in psychology, political science, and philosophy from the University of Idaho.
Michael Conner
Chief Revenue Officer
Before joining Cimplifi, Conner led sales and operational functions for global legal services providers and multidisciplinary consulting firms, guiding commercial strategy, market growth, and the creation of scalable, technology‑enabled solutions. Earlier in his career, he served as president of a technology‑driven eDiscovery company, overseeing operations, product strategy, and revenue performance.
A recognized authority in electronic discovery and information governance, Conner has provided expert testimony in federal and state courts and served as a Rule 30(b)(6) corporate representative. He has authored numerous articles and white papers on eDiscovery, data management, and litigation readiness and is a frequent speaker on best practices across the legal technology landscape.
